New HTC Handsets Available On Three UK In April

Mobile phone network company Three UK has announced that a number of HTC handsets will become available from April onwards. These include the Desire S, Wildfire S and the HTC ChaCha.

The HTC Desire S which features a 1GHz processor, a 3.7 inch touchscreen and will be the first to arrive, so buyers will be able to get it in April. Next to arrive in May is the HTC Wildfire S. This particular handset features a 3.2 inch display, 600MHz microprocessor and a 5 megapixel camera. The Wildfire S is also considered to be a budget phone.

The HTC ChaCha arrives in June, and is one of two Facebook phones which the Taiwanese company announced recently. As the name suggests it also comes with a music feel to it.

In addition to the music applications, the phone will enable users to have direct access to the Facebook social networking site. This means, they can post messages constantly without having to search or browse the internet first.

Three UK has not released any information about phone prices or tariff details, but this should be available soon.

The other Facebook handset which HTC is releasing is the HTC Salsa. This is also expected to be on the market in June, but Three UK do not appear to have included this particular machine in its recent press release. Whether this is an oversight or deliberate is not known.

While the HTC ChaCha has a full QWERTY keyboard, the HTC Salsa is a touchscreen phone which also resembles the HTC Desire.
