iPhone 5 Hints at Apple Media Event?

Gadget enthusiasts as well as media and bloggers will be on hand tomorrow March 2 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at San Francisco for an Apple Media Event. No official word from Apple what the event will be about but they showed hints of an iPad 2 unveiling. We have yet to confirm that but right now no-one is saying otherwise that the event will be for the iPad 2.

In light of the event, a lot of bloggers including us are wondering if Apple would say something about the iPhone 5. If you didn’t know, earlier we read reports that Apple COO, Tim Cook, was quoted saying that he doesn’t want the company’s goods to be “just for the rich”, and wants upcoming iPhones to appeal “to everyone”.

The statement above backs rumors that there will be an iPhone 5 iteration made for the budget-market. An iPhone with lesser capabilities and a smaller price tag.

Will we hear anything official about the “budget-iPhone” come March 2? Maybe..
