iPhone 4 unlock not working yet with the UltraSn0w on iOS 4.2.1 and 4.3

Two months ago there were some reports that the Dev team will release an unlock for the iPhone 4 following the release of the 4.3 iOS for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. They thought that they will release it in fact a week or two after the 4.3 upgrade from Apple. So if you have focused your hope for the unlock only on this rumor we will have to disappoint you at this moment. The most recent version of the unlocking tool, the UltraSn0w unlock version 1.3 wont work for the iOS 4.3 on your iPhone nor will it work if you have an iPhone 4 with the 4.2.1 if the iPhone baseband version is 02.10.04 or 3.10.01.

One of the key members of the iPhone Dev Team group has said in one of his tweets that the iPhone 4 is not available at this moment, and they will need more time to find a reliable solution.

So as I said unfortunately for iPhone 4 users which have baseband 02.10.04 or 03.10.01 whether they have firmware 4.1 or 4.2.1 there is no unlock available currently.

It seems that the unlock which the Dev Team wanted to release was in the end depending on the sim card. So for some reason it worked with some sim cards but didn’t work with other sim cards. At least it seems that Dev Team is making some small progress with this issue, as they revealed that they know why this happens but still need to work out a way to avoid this obstacle.

So if you are thinking about getting an iPhone 4 and if you need the unlock you should not rely on a software unlock but instead you should try to purchase a factory unlocked iPhone 4.

I already tried different solutions just to unlock my iphone 4 but it fails, until I discovered Gevey sim at www.unlockaniphone.org and it indeed helps me to unlocked it. This cannot be compared to any other solutions as they said.
